Description
Swoops in for his attack along the way to his destination.
Details
The Thunderbird is a magical creature believed to inhabit the forests near Indian Trading Post. As a Spirit unit, he is unaffected by many other units' attack and defense modifiers. His ability to swoop in and attack a unit in the middle of his move makes him an excellent addition to a Totem Building team.
Power
He attacks his target on the way to his destination, instead of after he arrives.

Favoured by most over the buffalo rider, the Thunderbird is an excellent addition to a team for scenarios in which items have to be collected. Being one of the first spirit units in the game makes it quite useful to have on your side.

[edit] Strategy

Use the Thunderbird's large movement range similarly to the Steam Gunman: to ferry items in scenarios such as Claim Jumping or Totem Building. The Thunderbird is also useful in Forest Guardians as a mobile Tree-grower; with the Frog Fetish attached, it can single-handedly grow a tree in 8 ticks, and defend it fully from both the Logging Robot and Super Logging Robot's proximity attacks. It can then attack said robots from a safe spot on the other side of the tree. This can also be done in Totem Building by attacking the totem from opposite sides of the totem base.
