The Storm Caller big shot attacks by calling down a storm to strike his target with lightning. In addition to damaging the unit at the center of his attack, he does additional damage to any units immediately adjacent to his target, and units standing next to those, including those on his own team. He also has an attack bonus versus air units.

[edit] Strategies

The Storm Caller is a difficult big shot to use correctly. His chain lightning attack can hit friendly units, which limits the player's ability to find a good target. He is not the best big shot to use on big open maps, since his attack to a single target isn't much. Also, games where the big shot is the only unit that can complete objectives, like Land Grab or Cattle Rustling, do not play well with the Storm Caller because of his low defense against most units; he is easily killed.

But despite his fragility, the Storm Caller can pack a punch when he is able to strike multiple enemy units. Enemy units that would deal 50 damage deal less damage after being struck by the chain lightning, which requires them to hit a target three times before it dies, instead of two, buying some extra time.

A most vicious combination is to team the Storm Caller up with the Firestarter bonus. Every target struck is then set on fire. This can greatly weaken an entire enemy team.

The Storm Caller can be very useful in Wendigo Attack if you know how to use him effectively because enemy Units are usually bunched up on glyphs so the storm caller can hit 2, 3, or maybe 4 units at a time taking 1/4 of the enemy units health away or more.

Killing friendly units in Warpath will allow the Storm Caller to level up.

Tips for Storm Caller

If you're on a small map in Warpath, set your Storm Caller up with a Firestarter Card and wreck havoc!
