Badges are awarded to players for achievements and milestones. Players receive badges at the end of ranked games along with the usual scrip prize. Some badges enable new game features, such as units or dud colors, while others are just for show.
In general, only achievements in ranked games count towards earning badges: Back parlor games and bounties usually do not (although bounties may yield their own special badges on completion). Such unranked games only count towards:
- How many times the player has used each unit
- How much scrip the player has earned
A player will only receive one badge per ranked match; if he meets the requirements for multiple badges, he will receive them at a rate of one per match.

Badge requirements can be fulfilled over any number of matches except when marked otherwise.
These listings have been well-confirmed through information extracted from the game files, and through empirical testing. Use the badge talk page or the badge testing page for speculation and research. Do not add new information to this list without referencing a reliable source in the edit summary.
