Ban

The Sheriffs may ban a player who violates the Terms of Service, cheats, takes advantage of exploits, or otherwise goes against the written or assumed guidelines Three Rings has set out. Bans may be temporary or permanent.

Players cannot trade with each other, so bans for scams are uncommon. Most bans are probably given for spamming, evasion of the chat filter or abusive behavior towards other players. Presently, there is no way to appeal a ban.^[1]

Taints may sometimes be confused with bans.
